Strand’s is family owned and operated in Marshalltown, Iowa.  We opened in 1973.  At that time, we employed 3 people and sold only paint and wallpaper.  In the years since, we have added flooring (from carpet to ceramic tile), a complete decorating service and paint sales directly to manufactures.  Our son  Carter  is now the manager  and our  daughter, Karin, is in charge of advertising.  We invite you to browse our website and contact us for further information.
